Police in Germany carried out raids at several locations in the eastern state of Saxony as part of an investigation into alleged murder threats made by anti-vaccination activists against the state's premier and other officials, an incident that takes place after Germany imposed tough new restrictions for unvaccinated people.

The raids were carried out across five properties in Dresden and one in the neighboring town of Heidenau.
The police brought the offline networking group, Dresden Offlinevernetzung, under investigation after ZDF reported that it had discussed plans to kill the premier and other state officials.
TheLKA personnel were included in the investigation as some members on the chat group indicated that they possessed firearms.
Police officials say they have collected statements from some individual members about their alleged possession of weapons.
