No one can tell you what the Matrix is. You have to see it for yourself. The fourth film in the series, The Matrix Resurrections, will have double that figure. Someone who has seen every single trailer, TV spot, or clip that has been released so far probably can't say for certain what the movie is about. There is a new featurette that can answer a few of your burning questions.
In the below video, we can see where Thomas Anderson is. We learn how that relates to Trinity and how new character Bugs fits in to their story. The dots are starting to come together.
There were some obvious questions going into the movie. Fans thought Neo was dead. Was he dead? They know that Trinity is dead, so how is she doing? The trailers have shown footage from the previous three Matrix movies, so it's possible that this is another Neo variant we learned about in The Matrix Reloaded.
The video suggests that Neo and Trinity are in the Matrix. It's not true that he was fed blue pills and then took a red pill. Was someone going to stop the Matrix? If Bugs has a group of people who believe in Neo but are not from the real world, how does that work? How do they know about Neo? The real world was supposed to be freed.
When The Matrix Resurrections hits theaters on December 22nd, there will be many questions answered. We will have a review and interviews with the writers as the date gets closer.
