The Brooklyn Nets announced Tuesday that James Harden and Bruce Brown were placed in the NBA's health and safety protocols.

The Nets have seven players in protocols, but will only have eight available for Tuesday's game against the Raptors, with Kevin Durant questionable because of an ankle injury.

Harden has averaged 20.8 points on 40.4 percent shooting, 9.6 assists and 7.9 rebound in his second season with the Nets.

Brown has averaged just 6.9 points, 4.3 rebound, 1.1 assists and 1.3 steals per game, while playing just 22.5 minutes a night.

With Harden and Irving out, Patty Mills will need to shoulder a lot of the workload as one of the team's primary ball-handlers.
