According to the report, the bank only allows workers who are vaccine free to enter its headquarters at 383 Madison Ave.
New York has a mask mandate for businesses that don't ask for proof of vaccination and a December 27 deadline for private employers in New York City to have a vaccine requirement.
In a memo sent to staff, first reported by the news agency, JPMorgan encouraged bankers to get Covid vaccines and to get booster shots if eligible, as well as relaxing its mask policy in Manhattan buildings.
The memo said that wearing face coverings indoors would slow down its efforts for a return to normal.
Before the change, unvaccinated bankers in Manhattan were allowed to work in the offices if they underwent Covid testing.
