The Lakers canceled practice Tuesday after Talen Horton-Tucker returned a positive test for COVID-19 and entered into the league's health and safety protocols.

L.A. had a practice ahead of its flight to Dallas.

The team members were told to take two tests before they went to the airport, if they returned a negative result, according to sources.

Several team rosters have been decimated by players entering the health and safety protocols, including the Charlotte Hornets, Brooklyn Nets and Chicago Bulls.

The Bulls are scheduled to host the Lakers on Sunday in Chicago, after having two games postponed this week because of the virus.

The Lakers have had two players enter into the health and safety protocols this season, the other being King James who was away from the team for 48 hours because of a false positive test.

The third-year guard missed the first 13 games of the season after having surgery on his thumb. He started the past six games for L.A. and put up 19 points and six steals in Sunday's win.

The Lakers could be without Anthony Davis. Davis missed the past two games with a sore left knee and is questionable for the game against the Mavs.
