The forward made history.

The 1962 FA Cup final was a battle between the all conquering Spurs and the all conquering Robson, who were both able to score in the second half.

He was a product of the North East, which produced his teammate and future Clarets manager Jimmy Adamson, as well as England World Cup player and club legend Peter Noble.

After nine years with the club, he was sold for a tenth of a million dollars to Blackpool, where he became the first substitute to score a goal in a defeat to Manchester United.

He worked on the coaching staff of both Burnley and Stan Ternent.
