Rational people would stop believing false claims if it were possible. Our world is not rational. Here, unbelievable claims keep going and going, like the Energizer Bunny. The myths are not zombies. Customers keep buying products that have 888-270-6611 888-270-6611 888-270-6611 888-270-6611 888-270-6611 888-270-6611 888-270-6611 888-270-6611 888-270-6611 888-270-6611 888-270-6611 888-270-6611 888-270-6611 888-270-6611 888-270-6611 888-270-6611 888-270-6611 888-270-6611 888-270-6611 888-270-6611 888-270-6611 888-270-6611 888-270-6611 888-270-6611 888-270-6611 888-270-6611 888-270-6611 888-270-6611 888-270-6611 888-270-6611 888-270-6611 888-270-6611 888-270-6611 888-270-6611 888-270-6611 888-270-6611 888-270-6611 888-270-6611 888-270-6611 888-270-6611 888-270-6611 888-270-6611 888-270-6611 888-270-6611 888-270-6611 888-270-6611 888-270-6611 888-270-6611 888-270-6611 888-270-6611 888-270-6611 888-270-6611
I first wrote about the topic of detoxification quackery a decade ago after observing vendors at a local fair. It's silly to promote the idea of detoxifyification. The idea of removing dead skin from the feet is silly. First it was foot baths and then foot pads.
Reality vs. myth.
We are exposed to a lot of hazardous chemicals in our environment.
There is a difference between hazard and risk. Anything that could cause harm is a hazard. The chance that someone will be harmed by the hazard is a risk.
Blood tests show that toxins accumulate in our bodies.
Our lab tests have become so good that we are tempted to forget that the dose makes the poison. Too much water has been known to kill people, while tiny amounts of most toxins have never been shown to cause harm. One atom of a radioactive element has never killed anyone, except maybe a cat, and that is a hypothetical thought experiment.
We need to cleanse.
Our liver does a good job of removing toxins. It doesn't need any help.
There is a myth that toxins can be removed through the skin of our feet.
They can't.
There is a myth that foot baths and pads remove toxins.
Attempts to measure decreased amounts of toxins in the body or increased amounts in the water after treatment have all failed.
The color of the water shows which toxins have been removed.
detoxifying from the female/prostate area.
detoxifying from joints
White cheese is most likely yeast.
detoxifying from tobacco, cellular debris
detoxifying from the gallbladder.
Dark green isdetoxifying from the gallbladder.
The white foam is from the body.
Heavy metals are referred to as black flecks.
Blood clot material is red.
The water color is created by hydrolysis. It could be due to the skin or the water. The process is understood. Skeptics believed that the water would change color if you didn't put your feet in it.
The detoxify foot pads change color overnight, proving that toxins, waste products, chemicals, and heavy metals have been removed. This is said to have many health benefits.
Lower your blood pressure.
Relieve headaches.
It's possible to reduce the appearance of cellulite.
Depression symptoms can be alleviated.
Improve your life with diabetes.
Help you sleep.
Increasing weight loss.
The foot patches don't remove toxins. They make the skin sweat. The patches have something in them. The color change is caused by skin debris. The same thing can be accomplished using the same material.
Kinoki foot pads are made of rubber.
Kinoki foot pads were banned for deceptive marketing.
The defendants advertised that the foot pads could remove toxins, heavy metals, and chemicals from the body, and treat headaches, depression, parasites, fatigue, insomnia, diabetes, arthritis, high blood pressure, and cellulite.

The total revenues from the sale of Kinoki Foot Pads was $14.5 million.
Nuubu is a new kid on the block.
Nuubu foot pads are in, but Kinoki foot pads are out.
The company says the largest concentration of harmful toxins is in the feet. That is simply not true. There isn't any evidence they offer.
The foot pads contain a lot of things. There are claims for each ingredient. Negative ion powder can be used to restore the healthy pH level and harmonize oxygen level in the blood stream, while tourmaline can be used to improve the detoxification process. Unsourced pseudoscientific gibberish. There were no supporting references.
The signs of toxic build-up are listed on the Nuubu website.
There is brain fog.
Irritability.
Skin problems.
The muscles ache.
Body odor.
Insomnia.
There are headaches.
Exhaustion.
Stubborn weight.
Constipation.
Traditional, ancient wisdom, all-natural,holistic, treats the cause rather than just the symptoms, cost-effective, because it treats multiple symptoms at once. They claim it doesn't treat symptoms but also treats multiple symptoms. The foot pads are on sale for a limited time and there is pressure to buy now. There is a page that repeats the ridiculous claim that all the body's organs flow through the feet.
They claim to be using tried-and-true Asian techniques. More than 60 acupoints are found on the soles of the feet. They say their herbs are picked in the remote East-Asian mountains. The website has an extensive statement.
There is no evidence here.
Nuubu foot pads and foot baths have benefits. Subjective and placebo benefits are possible. It is possible that sitting for a while with your feet in warm water is relaxing. Maybe you like carrying out chemical experiments that cause color changes. Maybe you feel like you are helping yourself by carrying out a ritual.
There is no evidence that it is possible to remove toxins from the feet.
