Everyone inside Gainbridge Fieldhouse stood for the final 90 seconds. After he finished his postgame interviews, some people stayed around to give him a proper sendoff.

This was not the Curry that everyone expected. He missed his first three attempts, and some of his attempts were off the mark. Curry had been trying too hard over the past few games.

I'm enjoying the moment, knocking on the door. Curry said it was pretty weird. You keep playing basketball, taking shots and enjoying the experience.

Curry's final 3 got the Warriors within 100-98, and on the next possession, he decided against a 3 and drove for the tying layup with 48.6 seconds to go. After getting a defensive stop, Curry had a chance at tying the record, but his attempt was off the mark and Kevon Looney broke the tie with a putback with 13.8 seconds left.

Draymond Green said that the play was set up perfectly, the 3 didn't go in, and that Loon did what he was supposed to do, which is get the offensive board to give us the lead and eventually the win.

The Pacers made sure that Curry didn't become the new record-holder. The Warriors missed their first seven 3-point attempts before Curry ended the streak early in a 12-0 run that gave the Warriors a 39-36 lead midway through the second quarter.

In this back-and-forth game, Indiana led most of the way.

Curry hit his fourth 3 of the night in the third quarter to give Golden State a 78-75 lead. Indiana took an 84-80 lead after closing the quarter with a 7-2 run. The Pacers led the entire fourth until Curry's flurry.

Curry finished the night with 26 points, 6 assists and 6 Rebounds.

The Warriors are on a five-game road trip.
