The All-Pro Los Angeles Rams defensive back was one of 36 players who tested positive for the virus on Monday.

The elevated number of positive results could be explained by the fact that a majority of teams test all players and personnel regardless of vaccination status on Mondays.

The league office did not reply immediately.

The last official Covid-19 update from the league said that between November 14 and November 27 only 29 players tested positive for the virus. The recent Covid-19 outbreak in the NFL is just one of many issues that other major professional leagues are dealing with. The Covid news that fake vaccination cards were found among some of the players of the National Football League was a blow to the league. The league suspended two members of the team, including Antonio Brown, and a third player who spent time with the team in the preseason after an investigation concluded they misrepresented their vaccine status. Sean Burstyn, Brown's attorney, denied the allegations in a statement to the NFL Network at the time.

According to sources, the National Football League has 37 test positive for carbon dioxide on Monday.

NBA games are delayed due to covid.

NHL games have been delayed for the third time this season.
