Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen has a left foot injury and is day-to-day, according to coach Sean McDermott.

Allen was hurt in the fourth quarter of Buffalo's overtime loss to the Buccaneers.

"We'll see how he responds to treatment," he said. As we get through the week, see what Sunday looks like.

Allen did not miss a snap, but he was limping the rest of the game. He was 36-of-54 for 308 yards with two touchdown. He ran for over 100 yards in a game for the third time in his career, and he also scored a rushing touchdown. The three games have all been losses.

Mitchell Trubisky is the Bills' backup quarterback. Chicago did not pick up his fifth-year option, so he landed in Buffalo. Trubisky has come in at the end of the games and not yet had to play meaningful snaps.

Allen has not missed a game because of an injury.

"We're going to take it one day at a time and see where it goes," he said. He has a chance, I talked to the medical team. Josh is in good spirits, I spoke with him as well.

Buffalo will play the Carolinas on Sunday.
