Wrestler 'Hannibal' Violently Stabs Ref W/ Spike In Bloody Match, Ref Hospitalized

A referee was stabbed in the head with an iron spike by a wrestler during a match over the weekend.

At a World Class Pro Wrestling event in Irving, Texas on Saturday, a horrifying scene went down when "Hannibal" was taking on "Carlito."

Nicholson and Carlito put on a show for several minutes, with Nicholson eventually pinning his opponent and winning the match.

Nicholson fought with a referee inside the squared circle after he left the ring.

In the video, you can see Nicholson hit the ref's forehead with a spike at one point.

The hanNIBAL TV is on the internet.

The full video of the match shows Nicholson stabbed the man with a sharp object and left him in a pool of blood in the ring.

Video from the event shows a public address announcer asking for a doctor in the crowd to help the ref after another wrestler pulled Nicholson off him.

The ref was taken to the hospital and had to have his wounds closed.

He's expected to make a full recovery according to a statement on Deltoro's social media pages.

The ref said he was recovering at home. Yes, lots of pain, but still a bit fuzzy. I will live. Thanks for the love and support.

World Class Pro Wrestling is on Facebook.

Jerry Bostic, the owner of World Class Pro Wrestling, said in a video message Sunday that he found Nicholson's actions appalling, and that the wrestler is now banned from all future events.

Bostic said that World Class will not be associated with Nicholson. I will not condone what happened last night.

We reached out to Nicholson, but he hasn't responded yet.
