Mikita Mikado is the CEO of PandaDoc, and the ex-director of product at Google. StudyFree has received over $3 million in funding. New funds will be used to attract new members to the community, expand into new markets, and develop platforms.
StudyFree helps students and alumni to enroll in universities and graduate schools by listing scholarships and grants. International students using its platform have received scholarships and grants worth over $10 million to study in universities across the U.S., Canada, Europe, and Asia. There are more than 300,000 programs for various degrees with scholarships.
Dasha Kroshkina, CEO and founder of StudyFree, said that she knows how important it is for everyone in the world to have this opportunity. The international education market has 15 million students a year.
StudyFree has a community of students with study abroad experience who act as mentors and assist new users withEnrollment, unlike traditional consulting agencies and ApplyBoard. Alumni who want to give back can host community events and network with new students. The service makes money through a subscription model.
