Manchester United unsure if Brentford game 'safe' to play after Covid-19 outbreak

A number of positive Covid-19 results were recorded at Manchester United on Sunday morning.

Manchester United are in talks with the league about whether the game at Brentford is safe after a Covid-19 outbreak at the club.

The operations at their training ground have been shut down for 24 hours after positive tests were confirmed.

The club is concerned about the risk of infections.

The team will not travel until the league makes a decision.

The club said they were talking to the league because of the cancellation of training and disruption to the squad.

All of the Manchester United players tested negative before Saturday's win, but a few tested positive on Sunday.

Positive results at both Villa and Seagulls.

A few staff members and a couple of players have tested positive, but the majority of them are negative and Tuesday's game is not in doubt.

The game against Spurs was postponed on Sunday after an outbreak in the squad, and Graham Potter says there are three or four positive cases at the club.

An outbreak in the Queens Park Rangers squad has forced the postponement of the match between the two teams on Monday.
