Lewis Hamilton will be back, says David Coulthard after controversial Abu Dhabi finale

The world title was won by Max Verstappen.

David Coulthard says that Lewis Hamilton is committed to coming back stronger next season.

The British driver was beaten to the world title by Max Verstappen in the season finale.

The seven-time champion, 36, said that he would see about next year.

He signed a new two-year deal with Mercedes in July.

Hamilton had appeared in control of the race and on course for a record-breaking eighth World Championship, until a late safety car decision enabled Verstappen to dramatically pass Hamilton's Mercedes on the final lap for the victory.

Coulthard said that Hamilton's commitment was "unquestionable".

He was a seven-time world champion. He's an incredible sportsperson and he's a phenomenon.

He's committed to another two years. He's committed to the team and will be there next year to try and win his eighth world title.

I think he has inner peace. He'll be disappointed, but you have to imagine that he's a great racing driver, he's won multiple championships, and he's overcome adversity in his career.

This is just another one of those moments that will not affect the great moments in his career.

He is a great example of how to deal with defeat.

These are the moments that he lives for, because he recognised the challenge of Verstappen. He would have liked to win, but he showed his brilliance once more.

The Mercedes team will appeal against one of the decisions made by the Formula 1 officials.

Eddie Jordan said that Hamilton has become too nice.

Eddie Jordan, the former team owner of the Formula 1 team, said that Hamilton had become too nice, allowing Verstappen to steal the world title.

He said that Verstappen had the right to the title.

I think Hamilton has opened the door. Verstappen stole his title from him because he was allowed to be aggressive and arrogant.

I think Lewis needs to be more aggressive and I think he has been too nice for too long.

It's his body language for me. He spoke so well that you should listen to the way he spoke afterwards. All of Britain can be proud of what he's doing but nice guys don't win titles and he becomes a nice guy.

"He's the best driver I've ever seen and I've seen some really top drivers in my time, so I'm really putting him on a pedestal."
