Bo Nix's career with the auburn tigers is over.

The quarterback announced on his page that he will be leaving the program as a graduate transfer. The 5-star prospect in the class of 2020 arrived at the school as a starter in the last three years for auburn.

When he started the season opener for the Tigers, he led them to a victory over Oregon. He was the SEC Freshman of the Year after leading the team to a victory over Alabama and scoring two total touchdown.

Consistency became an issue for the quarterback as his career continued.

In his second season, he threw for 12 touchdown and seven interceptions, but he appeared to take a step back. The team went from 9-4 in his first season to 5-5 in his second.

In the year of 2021, the Tigers were just 6/6 and had a broken ankle that kept Nix out of the final two games.

He was more of a game manager than anything else during his time at auburn, which is what the program was looking for when it brought in a 5-star signal-caller as it attempted to keep pace with the Tide in SEC and national championship races.

In a four-overtime loss to Alabama earlier in the season, LSU transfer TJ Finley went 17-of-26 for 137 yards with two touchdown and one interception.

As a graduate transfer, he will add a veteran quarterback to whichever school he chooses.
