The Washington Football Team lost their game against the Dallas Cowboys, but they did not lose their quarterback to a long-term injury.

After the game, Taylor Heinicke told the Washington Post that his knee was fine. It was scary at first, but it was my throwing elbow that got me in the first half. I didn't feel right. I should be ready this week.

Washington's four-game winning streak came to an end with the 27-20 loss.

The Cowboys improved to 9-4 and are three games clear of the Football Team with four remaining, as the defeat all but ended the chances of winning the NFC East. Washington will look to get back on track against the Philadelphia Eagles in Week 15.

Heinicke said he should be ready for the game, which is good news since he was playing so well.

During the winning streak, he had seven touchdown passes and two interceptions, with three of them coming against the Carolina Panthers.

He completed 11 of 25 passes for 122 yards, one touchdown and one interception in the loss to the Cowboys. The rushing attack and defense struggled in the first quarter as the Cowboys built a big lead.

The Football Team was never able to get over the hump in the loss after Kyle Allen spelled Heinicke.

They will have Heinicke back against the Eagles in what is shaping up to be an important game in the Wild Card picture.
