The Las Vegas Raiders had a logo at the center of the field before their game against the Kansas City Chiefs, and the Chiefs felt it added fuel to their fire.

"You definitely don't want people to come into your stadium and disrespect the things that you built,'' Patrick said. It gave us more motivation to win the game against a really good football team that we have a rivalry against.

At the end of the warm-ups, the Raiders defensive end summoned his teammates to the middle of the field and then had some words for them before the team left for the locker room.

"I don't think that's how champions act,'' said the defensive back.

The Chiefs scored on the game's first play when Mike Hughes recovered a Josh Jacobs fumbled ball and returned it for a touchdown.

Hughes said that the Raiders moving to the middle for the speech was disrespectful. I'm glad we jumped on them.

K.J. Wright said that the Raiders actions before the game might have given the hosts some added incentive.

If I were them, I would have been upset. "Who comes there and does that?" We couldn't hold up because they came out and responded to their anger.

It was a spur of the moment decision. One guy said, "Let's go", and we all got to ride together. We went out there together. We did it as a team and gave them more motivation than they needed.

The first two to leave the locker room after the speech were Carr and Mariota.

Carr said that he always has his teammates' back. I will always have their back and if that's what we're doing, that's what we're doing. That's what I'll say.

The Raiders took a victory lap around the stadium after winning in Kansas City for the first time since 2012 and the Chiefs were still sore about it going into the game.

The public address system at the stadium was playing "Wheels on the Bus" after the game.

"We didn't want them to win here again." We went out there and did business.
