Please just let Zion Williamson’s body work

It is a straight-up bummer that Zion will see the volume of his training reduced in order to allow for further bone healing after his foot surgery.

After being drafted by the New Orleans Pelicans in the first round of the NBA draft, Zion has only been able to play 85 games in his NBA career. Despite not playing a game since he reached legal drinking age, the power forward has career averages of 25.7 points and seven rebound per game, and he has been as advertised, following the one season at Duke where he averaged 22.6 points.

Being too heavy and having foot problems have led to Williamson packing on pounds and being unable to be active. It isn't "fat-shaming" to acknowledge that Williamson's weight poses a greater challenge to him being able to recover and reach his potential, it's a simple matter of him needing to break that vicious circle.

Nobody wants to see his career end before it has a chance to start. He is a special player and figuring out how to get his body right is his top priority. New Orleans is shutting him down because they don't want to rush him back when he is eligible for free agency.

The wrong stuff.

Kentavious Caldwell-Pope is like Kentavious Colossal.
