The rivalry between the Washington Football Team and the Dallas Cowboys became juicier this week when Cowboys coach Mike McCarthy said he was going to win the game. I'm confident in that.

Washington coach Ron Rivera called it a big mistake.

The heated benches at FedEx Field have become part of the story, but it is not as bad as it may seem.

The Cowboys benches were made in Ohio and shipped to Washington. The decision was made after the Cowboys were told that the benches at FedEx Field were cut out.

The Cowboys' logos are on the benches in the stadium, but they did not ship them from Texas. They do not need heated benches at AT&T Stadium.

The heated benches kept going out during the game at Washington. The seats were shipped to the stadium so that they wouldn't be an issue on Sunday with temperatures in the mid- to high-40s.

The Cowboys will have a warm seat before the game. They would be in a tough spot if they lost to the Washington Football Team. Dallas would have a one-game lead over Washington, with a second game coming at AT&T Stadium.
