Aaron Rodgers' toe injury expected to last for remainder of season, sources say

Sources told ESPN that Rodgers' toe injury is expected to last the rest of the season.

Rodgers has to feel his foot to throw because doctors can't completely numb the fractured left pinkie toe because it drags and he can't feel it plant.

If Rodgers had surgery, he would have to have a pin put in his toe to play. If surgery is needed at that time, Rodgers will delay his decision to have it.

When Rodgers gets back out there, he needs to see how it reacts. This was a good time to heal and not do anything for 10 days. That has been really helpful. We're hoping that we can get on the other side of this.

Rodgers has thrown 2,878 passing yards and has thrown 23 touchdown passes.
