In the co-main event of UFC 269 from Las Vegas, the women's bantamweight title was won by Julianna Pena with a stunning second-round submission upset win over the previously crowned champ, Amanda Nunes.
She got the better of the champion with her jab in the second round and then took down the champ with a rear-naked choke that earned her the belt.
The fight started with a lot of grappling. The Lioness had a strong round and the ground game was potentially the best chance to win. She successfully defended her Kimura attempt at the end of the round.

The Venezuela's Vixen has been calling for a fight for a long time. She had a lot of confidence coming fight night.
This is one of the most shocking UFC title fight upsets. Holly was +850 when she won over Ronda. Pea's odds were at +650.
The first order of business is likely to be a repeat of the fight that was stopped by Nunes. That's the standard operating procedure for a champion.
Before her win, the new champ addressed it.
There will be an immediate sequel, according to Pena. I will be 11-2 in the bantamweight division when I win that fight, which is a better record than the bantamweight division has ever had. I know that 135 is my proper weight class, so I'm pretty comfortable walking up to 145 for a second belt. We can cross that bridge when we get there.
The fight that would carry a lot of intrigue for fans was the one where Pena proved her fire for this fight.
With a second win she can put an exclamation point on the rivalry.
