Meyer told assistants that some of their jobs would be in jeopardy next year if the team didn't start winning, according to the NFL Network.

Marvin Jones left the team's practice facility due to Meyer's criticism of the team's receivers, which also prompted a heated argument between the two at practice.

Meyer benched James Robinson, who broke the NFL record for rookies in a single season, after he fumbled against the Rams, in favor of Carlos Hyde, who played for Meyer at Ohio, despite Meyer claims that Robinson had been injured.

Sources told the sports network that the owner of the Jaguars plans to keep him.

Forbes reached out to Meyer's representatives for comment on the allegations.

Meyer, a successful coach for the Ohio State Buckeyes until 2018, was brought out of retirement and hired by the Jacksonville Jaguars this year. His first season in the NFL has yielded a disappointing 2-10-0 record. In October, pictures and a video of him at an Ohio bar with a blonde woman who was not his wife went public, prompting an apology from Meyer to the team. Khan and a player from the Jags said that Meyer had no credibility in the stadium and that he had very little to begin with.

According to reports by the NFL Network, several staff members have left the team since Meyer took over.

Urban Meyer apologized to the entire Jacksonville team.
