The rapper walked across the stage in a traditional cap and gown after receiving her Bachelor's Degree at Texas Southern University.
Check out the clip. She made it a point to pose for selfies and wave at the crowd as her name was read. It was quite strange.
We're impressed. This isn't a degree or something, it's a piece of jewelry that celebs wear all the time. Meg has been working her butt off to get to undergraduate level for years now, and she actually buckled down and hit the books.
Word is. Megan was studying at Prairie View A&M when she transferred to TSU, but as her rap career has taken off, she's had to do online classes on and off while navigating her professional life.
It's a lesson for the kids out there, even as an incredibly famous star, you can still achieve your dreams, even if it's in higher education, something Meg has said she's wanted under her belt, with her late mother in mind. Her mom died a couple years ago.
She wrote, "I want you to remember that you can do whatever you want and be whoever you want to be, cause look at me!"
