The eighth driver to have tested positive for Covid-19 since last season was Nikita Mazepin, who was set to start last on the Abu Dhabi grid.
Formula 1 says that Nikita Mazepin's positive test for Covid-19 won't have a big impact on the title.
The Russian will not race after returning the result on-site and also having a re-test positive.
"Mazepin is experiencing mild symptoms and is isolating in accordance with Covid-19 protocols," said Formula 1.
The title decider between Lewis Hamilton and Max Verstappen was due to start in 20th position.
The race is on the radio and on the website.
Mick Schumacher will be on the grid in Mazepin's absence. Pietro Fittipaldi isn't eligible to replace Mazepin because he hasn't taken part in at least one session this weekend.
The governing body said that the procedures set out by the FIA and Formula 1 will ensure no wider impact on the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix.
Verstappen and Hamilton will start from the front row of the grid in Abu Dhabi.
Only the second time in F1's history, both Hamilton and Verstappen go into the final race with the same amount of points.
