There are questions about Urban Meyer's future after growing tensions between the Jacksonville Jaguars head coach, the team's players and members of his coaching staff.

There have been several run-ins with players and other coaches in recent weeks, but so far there are no signs that the Jags owner is considering a change.

Meyer, who was hired in January, previously landed on the hot seat following a Week 4 loss to the Cincinnati Bengals.

He stayed in his home state of Ohio to visit his family during the extra few days of the team's off. A woman who wasn't his wife was shown dancing on him in a bar in a video that was posted on social media.

Meyer said he held a team meeting after he returned and that he "owning a stupid mistake."

"I have to earn their trust back from the fact that I became a distraction," Meyer said.

While rumors about his future swirled around the organization, Khan released a statement saying he'd "addressed this matter" with the team's head coach.

Khan said that his conduct last weekend was "inexcusable". I think Urban's remorse is sincere. He needs to regain our trust and respect. It will require a personal commitment from Urban to everyone who supports, represents or plays for our team. I am confident that he will deliver.

The situation faded from the headlines, but internal unrest continues.

Meyer's tendency to shift blame to players and coaches has caused members of the organization to grow wary of him, per Pelissero.

A recent report by the NFL.com states that there has been a heated argument between Meyer and wide receiver Marvin Jones Jr., as well as a question about the coach's decision to bench running back James Robinson.

In addition, Pelissero gave a brief description of a recent meeting between the coaches.

Several people who were briefed on the contents of the meeting said that Meyer told his assistant coaches to explain when they've ever won and that he was a winner.

The question is whether Khan will change his stance on Meyer in the coming weeks.

The Jacksonville Jaguars will be eliminated from playoff contention by the end of the season, but they have five games left in the regular season.
