Zion is still having some issues with his foot and will have his rehab workload scaled back.
The team said that Zion had a regression in the bone healing of his fifth metatarsal after experiencing persistent soreness in his right foot. The volume and intensity of his training will be reduced for an extended period to allow for further bone healing.

The 21-year-old averaged 27.0 points on 61.1 percent shooting, 7.2 rebound and 3.7 assists per game for the Pelicans.

The Pels' first 28 games of the season have been missed by Williamson due to his surgery. He was supposed to be ready for the start of the season.

The Duke product was cleared for full basketball activities in November.

The team has an 8-20 record without the star.

It would be great to see Williamson back in New Orleans. The Pels can finish the season strong, even though they are unlikely to make the playoffs, and work on building positive vibes into next year.
