The Financial Modeling World Cup will be held on December 10, 2021.
During each round, competitors are presented with a one to five-page long case study. The more complex a question, the more points are awarded to the player.
Participants will have to use their financial modeling skills to answer the questions. The sample cases on the site can give you a glimpse of what kinds of problems these excel pros solve, some of which they may encounter during a typical workday, and others, dubbed "freestyle", might have a more unusual subject matter.
Think again if you never thought you would get excited over an event. It feels like watching a livestream of the FWMC is just as exciting as watching a typical event. It has a ranking system that uses an excel spreadsheet to rank the top three players in the competition, with Diarmuid Early of New York at the top of the global list.
The Microsoft Office Specialist World Championship covers the entire Office suite, including excel, Word, and PowerPoint, and challenges students to become the "Microsoft Champion."
