A court heard on Friday that a pet monkey was offered cocaine by its owner.
Vicki Holland was caught on camera trying to get her pet to lick cocaine off her fingers.
Holland, from Newport in Wales, can be heard laughing as she tries to flush the primate down the toilet, as the terrified animal clings to the rim of the bowl.
The treatment of the monkey was shown to the RSPCA by Gwent Police after they found videos on Holland's phone.
Holland provided no UVB lighting for the monkey and its cage was not in keeping with the environment, according to the prosecutor.

"This is deliberate infliction, this isn't neglect," Mr Watkins said.
The court heard that Holland's phone contained 22 very disturbing videos. The marmoset was shown to the court in a very distressed state, cowering inside the bathroom.
Holland can be heard saying "I need the toilet" and "Shall I flush it?" in the video. Holland called the animal a "f----- t---" when he flushed the lavatory.

Mr Watkins said that Holland's dog was chasing the marmoset in a dangerous environment around knives and electrical outlets.
Holland was "deeply embarrassed and deeply ashamed of her actions", said Scott Bowen. He said that she accepts that she should not have had the animal in the first place.
The animal was handed over to the RSPCA during the investigation, but Mr. Bowen said there was no long-term damage to the animal. It was later moved to Monkey World for continued care.
The monkey is in the bathroom.
Holland told the RSPCA that she had sold the marmoset a week before. The marmoset was found at another address.
Holland was given a suspended jail term for keeping animals for life. She was ordered to pay a victim surcharge and costs.

An independent vet confirmed that the marmoset was suffering because of the way she had been treated.
Gwent Police and Monkey World have provided a forever home for the marmoset. The monkey is getting the care they deserve after being mistreated.
