What You Need Is a Snackle Box

Some people are more artistic than others. If we were to trace the history of the snackle box back to its inventor, I am sure we would find a mother.

I am a fan of the snackle box. A reader brought the snacking format to my attention a while ago, and I have been seeing variations of it across various food-focused Facebook groups for months now. It is a very cute and practical idea.

A tackle box is a great snack transportation system because it keeps your snacks neat and organized, while keeping your more delicate snacks from being crushed.

I hear that the various foods are kept from touching each other by the partition in the box.

If you want to become a snackle box, I would suggest a tackle box with moveable partition so that you can adjust your snack ratios as you please. I don't want you to be beholden to any one format if you want a 1:1 ratio of crackers and dried cherries.

What should be in your snack box? Of course, snacks. You can build it like a snack board, with a wide variety of flavors and textures. Start with a meat, cheese, and a carb, and then add other snack items to your pantry. Save a compartment for dessert in the box and in your stomach.
