Notre Dame's Kyle Hamilton, Kyren Williams entering NFL draft, skipping bowl game

Kyle Hamilton and Kyren Williams will not play in the Fiesta Bowl because they will be playing in the draft.

Hamilton is one of four prospects on Mel Kiper Jr.'s Big Board for the NFL draft in 2022.

The junior never came back from the injury he suffered against USC. Hamilton has a fat pad in his knee. He played in only seven games and had 35 total tackles, 2.5 tackles for loss, three intercepts and four pass breakups.

I want to thank you first. Hamilton thanked his teammates, coaches and fans, among others, in a statement on his verified account. I have decided to skip the bowl game and enter the draft.

Williams had 1,002 yards and 14 touchdown in the season. He had 1,125 rushing yards and 13 touchdown last season, and finishes his career with 675 receiving yards and four touchdown.

The Glory to the Lord is here.

Williams is the fourth ranked running back in the class, behind Iowa State's Breece Hall, Michigan State's Kenneth Walker III and Texas A&M's Isaiah Spiller.
