Elon Musk Says He’s Thinking of Quitting SpaceX and Tesla to Become an “Influencer”

It has finally happened, and Musk is quitting the companies he has helped build to become a full-time influencer.
More than a few people were wondering if he was serious when he claimed in a likely-facetious-but-maybe-also-slightly-self-awareness-tweet that he was.

The world's wealthiest man said he was thinking of quitting his jobs and becoming an influencer full-time.
Pareidolia is a billionaire.

The prolific meme stealer has been known to use the social networking site as a sounding board for his more audacious ideas. If he was thinking about becoming a full-time influencer, we wouldn't put it past him.
He is being sued for $160 million by one of the world's largest banks, he is staring down the barrel of bankruptcy with one of his biggest companies, and he recently sold a big chunk of hisTesla stock.

There is a chance that the tweet was a flash of self-awareness. Musk can change market conditions with a single message and he is already a massive influence in his own right. He isn't exactly aKardashian, but it's hard to argue that he isn't one of the world's most visible.

New Paul was dropped.

Maybe he really wants to get big doing TikTok dances. Maybe he will start a thirst trap page for people who are into questionable haircut decisions. There are so many possibilities for his career as an influencer.

This is probably just a big joke from Musk, who likes to stir the pot at a time. We wouldn't be surprised if he moved back to LA to join an influencer house.
