My family of 4 spent $650 a night at Disney's Yacht Club Resort, and it was totally worth the price tag

The Yacht Club is my favorite place to stay at Disney World.

My family of 4 stayed at Disney's Yacht Club Resort for $650 a night, and it's my favorite hotel.

The pool area was great for my boys, and we spent a lot of time there.

The location is close to the BoardWalk, Epcot, and Hollywood Studios.

Picking the perfect place to stay is the first thing I do when I am a travel agent.

The Yacht Club Resort was chosen for its prime location, expansive pool, and beautiful theming, because I visited Disney World with my family of four for the 50th-anniversary celebration.

Even though it cost $650 a night, it was worth it.

The resort makes you feel like you've traveled to New England.

There were a lot of things to look at in the lobby.

After flying in from Chicago, check-in went well.

The lobby has nautical decor and fresh flowers.

The resort is themed.

The place smells like the seaside and the exterior is kept clean.

It looks like a New England escape because of the attractive landscaping.

The room was bright and inviting, and it had a balcony.

The room was clean.

Our standard room had a pool view, hardwood floors, and nautical accents.

It had two queen beds, a safe, and a TV. It had a mini-fridge and a coffee maker.

There was a bathroom with a double sink and separate areas for the shower and toilet.

The view from our room was nice.

I sat on the balcony every morning to have my coffee and it was the best part of the room.

The pool is a big selling point.

My kids enjoyed the activities at the pool.

The Yacht Club's pool is the best on Disney resort property.

We spent some time at the pool. The sand play area, pirate-ship slide, and volleyball court were popular with my kids.

At least once a day, we ate at the pool's quick-service restaurant, Hurricane Hannah's. The bacon cheeseburger and chili-cheese fries are very popular.

The experience was enjoyable.

We enjoyed being pampered at the pool with drinks and treats, and rented a cabana for the day.

It's better to be sandwiched between the three.

We could walk to many entertainment spots from the hotel.

The Yacht Club has the best location.

The Beach Club Resort has an ice-cream shop, arcade, and additional restaurants.

It's less than a 10-minute walk to the park, which allowed us to go back and forth throughout the day, as well as attend the International Food and Wine Festival.

We were able to eat and play games.

We enjoyed dinner, carnival games, and ice cream at Disney's BoardWalk, which is a short walk from the hotel.

One day, we went to play mini golf at the nearby Fantasia Gardens.

We had a lot of transportation options to choose from.

We could take transportation to the parks.

There were buses to the other parks, as well as walking paths to the other parks, and boats to Hollywood Studios and resorts.

We never had to wait more than five minutes for a bus. The My Disney Experience app made it easy to track when the next ones would arrive.

The Yacht Club has great dining options.

The pancakes were great at the two places.

The Yachtsman's Steakhouse is the fancy table-service restaurant at the resort, and there's also the Ale and Compass.

We ate a delicious breakfast at the two restaurants before heading to the parks. The lounge next door is great for evening drinks.

Breakfast, lunch, and dinner can be served at the Yacht Club Market. The breakfast sandwiches and bowls were very convenient.

The cute 50th-anniversary print was well worth the price.

We topped off our mugs at the market.

The location, amenities, and the Yacht Club make it my favorite Disney resort.
