Trump accuses Netanyahu of disloyalty:

Donald Trump and Benjamin Netanyahu were the closest of political allies during the four years they were in office. Not anymore. "I haven't spoken to him in a while," Trump said. Fk him.

Trump criticized Netanyahu in two interviews for my book, "Trump's Peace: The Abraham Accords and the Reshaping of the Middle East." The final straw for Trump was when Netanyahu disagreed with the result of the election.

The man that I did more for than any other person I dealt with was Netanyahu. It is possible that Bibi stayed quiet. He made a terrible mistake.

Donald Trump.

Netanyahu is on trial for corruption and is trying to get back the Prime Minister's Office.

His close relationship with key players in U.S. politics, and with one man in particular who remains hugely popular in Israel: Trump, is one of his primary political calling cards.

The public perception was that there was no daylight between Trump and Netanyahu as they worked closely together on key issues. By the end of his presidency, Trump realized that Netanyahu was using him on the Palestinians and Iran.

Trump helped ensure Netanyahu's political survival, but didn't get the same in return. He was angry about the video in which Netanyahu praised Biden.

I liked him. I still like him. I like to be loyal. The first person to say hello to Biden was Bibi. Trump told me that Netanyahu did it on tape.

Netanyahu was not the first world leader to congratulate Biden. He waited more than 12 hours after the election.

He was very early when his wife shared Netanyahu's video with him, according to Trump. I have not spoken to him since. Fk him.

The former president was fixated on the fact that while the likes of Brazil's Jair Bolsonaro and Russia's Vladimir Putin held off, they felt the election was rigged.

If Netanyahu did a tape to Biden talking about their friendship, they wouldn't have a friendship. They're going to do it again.

During a 90-minute face-to-face interview at Mar-a-Lago in April, Trump claimed that he had done more for Israel and Netanyahu than any other president.

He cited his decisions to withdraw from the Iran deal, move the U.S. Embassy to Jerusalem, and keep troops in the region.

He said that he announced the move for the Golan Heights before the election because Netanyahu was lagging in the polls. If it wasn't for me, he would have lost the election.

A survey conducted before the election found that a majority of Israelis thought Trump's decision strengthened Netanyahu's stature.

Trump was featured on Netanyahu's billboards. Jack Guez is pictured via a photo.

In the 10 days before the election, Trump called Netanyahu and asked if "Sleepy Joe" could have cut a deal.

"Mr. President, one thing I can tell you is that we appreciate the help for peace from anyone in America," Netanyahu said. Trump bristled.

There were disagreements between Trump and Netanyahu over Iran, Netanyahu's plan to annex parts of the West Bank, and Trump's desire for a peace deal with the Palestinians.

Trump expressed admiration for Netanyahu as a politician even as he criticized him. He was interested in Netanyahu's legal troubles, though he never talked to Netanyahu about them.

I spoke to Trump again in July, this time on the phone, after Netanyahu was ousted from power.

"I like him, but he has been there a long time," Trump said when asked about Netanyahu's exit.

In a milder tone, Trump repeated his grievances with Netanyahu. He said that people were angry with him when he was the first one to congratulate Biden.

The video was almost like he was begging for love. I said, "My, my way things change." I was disappointed. That hurt him a lot with the people of Israel. I'm very popular in Israel. I think it hurt him very badly.

There has been an upward trend in the number of hospitalizations related to chronic bronchitis in New York state since last month, but there is a noticeable divide between the Big Apple and some of the state's more rural areas. The story is different in several counties hundreds of miles north, where new COVID-19 hospitalizations are rising at a higher rate.
