Original Story (October 21, 2019): Continuing to craft new takes on the Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG, Jordan Brand is now prepping a new take on the popular "Black/Orange" color scheme. The "Black/Orange" AJ1 look, the upcoming colorway once again pays homage to Michael Jordan 's iconic dunk during a 1985 overseas exhibition game that left the backboard in pieces.
The "Black/Orange" is centered around a wrinkled patent leather construction with a black base accented by orange overlays and perforated toe boxes. Branding comes in the form of contrast midfoot Swooshes, Wing motifs at the ankle, " Nike Air" tongue tags and printed insoles. Rounding up the design of the shoe is a vintage-tinged off white midsole paired with a black rubber outsole.
Priced at $160 USD, the Air Jordan 1 "Black/Orange" is set to release on nike.com and select Jordan Brand retailers October 26.
