After a lengthy wait, Rocksteady’s Suicide Squad finally has a gameplay trailer

The first trailer for Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League, a new game from Batman: Arkham developer Rocksteady Studios, was released. The video got an introduction from renowned actress and all-around bad girl, Deborah Wilson, who plays overlord of the Suicide Squad, The Wall.

You will be able to play as multiple members of DC's maladjusted band of villainous misfits, including Deadshot, King Shark, and fan-favorite Harley Quinn, in a squad-based action fighter akin to Marvel's Guardians of the GALAXY.

The rumors of a Suicide Squad game began this summer and were confirmed in August. On December 8th, the co founder of Rocksteady Studios teased a trailer would be released during the Game Awards.

Rocksteady Studios has made games in the DC Comics universe before, with the newest game in five years. Batman: Arkham City earned several game of the year awards across the industry, and was generally well-received.

The game will be available on next-gen consoles and PCs, but it won't have an official release date until 2022.
