Affirmative action was taken at 4:04 PM.

The regular season will begin on Friday, May 6 and conclude on Sunday, August 14 in the year 2022.

The World Cup of Women's Basketball begins in Australia in September. The broadcast and streaming schedules for the 26th season of the WNBA will be released at a later date.

The All-Star game will take place on July 10, and the second game of the Commissioner's Cup will take place on July 26. The league has never played more regular-season games.

There were 32 games last season. There were 34 games from 2003 to the present and 22 games in the 2020 bubble season because of the COVID-19 Pandemic. The use of a series model will be included in the schedule in the year 2022.

In some cases, a team is scheduled to play two games in the same city. The league announced changes to its format last month, including the return of all- series play in the playoffs.

The 36-game schedule will allow fans to see the best players in the world compete at the highest level, according to the commissioner. The second year of the Commissioner's Cup brings added incentive to the first half of the season for players and teams, while offering fans conference rivalry competition through which to support their favorite teams.

Chicago and Los Angeles will face off in the opening night game. Las Vegas will take on Phoenix in a repeat of their semifinal series.

The United States is the defending champion of the FIBA World Cup and the WNBA has adjusted its schedule to finish earlier. After the Summer Games, the WNBA takes a monthlong break and plays again.

The draft lottery will be at 3 pm. The Indiana Fever, Atlanta Dream, Washington Mystics, and Dallas Wings will be on the air.

The free agents can be signed on Feb. 1 and the teams can begin negotiations on Jan. 15.
