"Sex and the City: The Movie" has Carrie Bradshaw in it.

Carrie gets to try on a variety of wedding dresses for her Vogue photo shoot, which includes designs by everyone from Vera Wang and Christian Lacroix to Oscar de la Renta and Dior.

At first glance, she seems like the perfect fit for the most stylish of the "Sex and the City" quartet, three of whom are set to make their return to the screen in the remake "And Just Like That..." today.

The devil is in the details. Bradshaw's bra is similar to Madonna's famous cone-shaped bra from the '90s. The entire gown needs to be pressed from the back because it looks like a hot mess.

Carrie is in good company. Princess Diana had the same problem.

Mia's wedding dress in The Princess Diaries 2 was not good.

"The Princess Diaries 2: Royal Engagement" has Mia Thermopolis in it.

Mia gets to the alter in her gown before she backs out of her arranged marriage.

Mia wears a dress when she says she can lead alone. The gown has lace sleeves, a dropped waist, and a plain silk skirt.

The dropped waist fit is not a good look for most brides. The dress isn't as striking as a future queen's gown should be.

In "Bridesmaids", Lillian's couture wedding dress wasn't what she wanted.

"Bridesmaids." Universal Pictures

In "Bridesmaids," the topic of the wedding gown is a big one. Annie was upset that Helen and she flew to Paris to get the perfect dress.

The dress doesn't end up how she imagined, and the amount of fabric on the skirt and sleeves looks tacky.

The hat-like veil is the worst part of the ensemble, but luckily, Annie helps her make the dress more appealing for her wedding ceremony.

Amy looks like a Grecian goddess in the movie "The Wedding Date."

Amy is in "The Wedding Date".

Amy almost ruined her own English countryside wedding when she revealed that she had slept with her sister's boyfriend. The groom's best friend is the boyfriend.

The Hunger Games are forcing the two of them to compete again, but they can't tie the knot because of that, so they model the wedding dress their stylist designed for them.

The dress has a full trumpet skirt, a fitted bodice, and three-dimensional detailing on the back.

The best part of the dress is that it changes into a fitted navy gown with a train that looks like wings, when Katniss twirls. It's designed to make her look like a character from the movie.

The high-low skirt is grand without looking like a duvet cover, and the shimmering gold bodice fits her perfectly.

Jane's gown was not up to par.

Jane is in a movie.

Jane spends the majority of her time as a bridesmaid, so her wedding is a long time coming.

She wears a simple white gown with a V-neckedline and a loose A-line silhouette when she steps out in her own wedding dress.

The gown is boring and doesn't make much of a statement. It's even more disappointing because Jane's wedding has been so highly anticipated.

Even though Jane didn't like it, her sister's gown was pretty.

The film is called "27 Dresses."

As she tears apart her mother's dress to make her own custom gown, Jane finds herself in a major plot point of " 27 Dresses."

Liv got rid of the blue hair dye just in time for her big day at the Plaza Hotel, where her best friend Emma was also supposed to tie the knot at the same time.

Liv's stunning ball-gown dress was ruined by a couple of design failures.

There's a random purple belt in the middle, which may have inspired a questionable wedding gown by KhloerKardashian eight months later. The sweetheart neckline was perfect for Liv's dress, but the weird design at the top made it look unfinished.

The pink wedding dress that Lisa McDowell wore in "Coming to America" made a statement.

Unfortunately for Toula Portokalos, she doesn't have a say in her wedding to Ian Miller.

Where to start? The roses are in the center of the bedazzled bodice. The sky-high veil? The necklace with pearls?

Don't even get us started on the gloves.

Carrie's gown is the worst in the movie.

Rank film distributors has Carrie in Four Weddings and a Funeral.

Carrie, the main love interest in " Four Weddings and a Funeral," doesn't make a great choice with her gown, as you'd expect from the title.

The crown and veil look wrong with the gown Carrie picked.

Annie wears a silk and lace ball gown, but the rest of her outfit isn't as cool or fun. The lace and large skirt looked like dresses that were popular in the 1980s despite the film coming out in 1991.

The lace sleeves are pretty, but they aren't enough to save the rest of the look.

Hannah and Colin are in a movie.

Hannah doesn't say "I do" to Colin after Thomas crashes the show, but he really did her a favor.

The suit-gown she wore to her wedding ceremony wasn't the best way to express her personality, and no one expected her to wear a traditional dress.

The top of the piece is a long sleeve blouse with a peplum waist. It flows into a full skirt with a lining full of polka dots underneath it.

The whole outfit falls apart with the three stylish daughters standing nearby.

The dress that Kim Wallace wore in "My Bestfriend's Wedding" is a total disaster.

In the 1994 cult Australian movie, a lot of wedding dresses are tried on, but the one she wears on her big day is a princessy cliché.

The gold detailing on the long-sleeved dress makes it look like a costume, which is a bit fitting as the wedding isn't as authentic as it seems.

The biggest problem with the outfit is the huge tiara that is on her head, which makes it clear that she's still playing dress-up.

Jenny's dress in "Forrest Gump" is very her, but it isn't the most stylish.

"Forrest Gump" has Jenny Curran in it.

There are many great details in Juliet's dress, from the elegant train to the delicate feather detailing on the neckline.

We don't know what's going on with the rest of the top, which appears to be a sheer cardigan covering up the torso. It makes the gown look a little juvenile.

"The Parent Trap" features Hallie Parker.

There's no wedding in Lindsay's 1998 version of "The Parent Trap" but that doesn't mean you can't have a great wedding dress moment.
