The weatherwidget is coming back to the Windows 11 taskbar. Live weather conditions and quick access to the broader news feed are what it provides. This integration was removed from Windows 11 in favor of a separate panel.

The Windows Insider chief says that they are trying out showing the Widgets entry point on the left side of the taskbar with live weather content. You can open the board by hovering over the entry point.

If you have your Windows 11 taskbar aligned to the left, the weather will be displayed on the left side. The ability to display the time and date across multiple monitors is one of the features of this latest taskbar change. The changes are expected to be rolled out in a Windows 11 update.

The new Voice Access feature for Windows 11 is being announced by Microsoft. Langowski says that voice access is a new experience that enables everyone, including people with mobility disabilities, to control their PC and author text using their voice.

Voice Access will allow you to open apps, switch between them, and read and compose emails. You can use commands like "open Word" to open Microsoft's word processing app, or "click to select items", once enabled.

Microsoft has various speech recognition tools in Windows over the years. It is not known when Voice Access will be available for all Windows 11 users, and Microsoft says new features will show up in future annual Windows releases.
