A group of defendants linked to the Oath went to Olive Garden after the Capitol attack, according to a newly released FBI transcript.
More than a dozen people linked to the Oath Keepers, a far-right extremists group, are facing charges of obstruction of an official proceeding, destruction of government property, and conspiracy to obstruct Congress.
The person who was with the group on January 6 was interviewed in May.
The person told the FBI that after leaving the Capitol grounds, the group stopped by their hotel and went to eat at Olive Garden. The group at Olive Garden may have referred to Ashli Babbitt, the rioter who was killed by police, according to the transcript.
The group talked about veterans and Donald Trump. One Oath Keeper talked about wanting Trump to invoke the Insurrection Act, which allows the president to deploy armed forces within the US to suppress rebellion.

It's going to be crazy, said Trump. It's going to be crazy. He wants us to make it crazy. He called us all to the Capitol and wanted us to make it crazy. Sir, yes, Sir! Kelly Meggs wrote in a Facebook message that they were heading to DC. The big protest in D.C. is on January 6th. Be there, it will be crazy!
More than 700 people have been charged in the Capitol riot with offenses that include conspiracy, assault on police officers, violent entry and disorderly conduct, and entering and remaining in a restricted building illegally.
