Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez claps back at Boebert family toting guns in a Christmas photo, alluding to the right-wing fight against society 'erasing Christmas and its meaning'

The photo of the Boebert family with guns in front of a Christmas tree was taken by Rep. Lauren Boebert.

The Colorado Republican posted a Christmas photo of her kids posing with rifles after another GOP Rep. Thomas Massie faced criticism for a similar photo.

The Boeberts have your six! Boebert added "No spare ammo for you, though" with the photo.

Lauren Boebert is on December 8, 2021.

In response to Boebert's Christmas photo, the progressive lawmaker from New York wrote: "Tell me again where Christ said use the commemoration of my birth to flex violent weapons for personal political gain."

The lawmaker went on to say that the right-wing campaign was against secularization or the elimination of Christmas.

She wrote, "All the years Republicans spent on cultural hysteria of society 'erasing Christmas and it's meaning' when they're doing that fine all on their own."

The AOC's Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez posted on December 8, 2021.

During his presidential campaign, Donald Trump said that he would get rid of the phrase "Happy holidays" because it was a generic holiday greeting and was used for political correctness.
