Dallas Cowboys running back Ezekiel Elliott told reporters that his nagging right knee injury was healing up and going in the right direction.

"You're never going to be 100 percent; it's a tough game, and you might be 100 percent on the first day of camp," he said. I take a lot of pride in being on the field.

He said that he suffered the injury during the Carolina game. He left the game against the Broncos with a knee injury.

Since the Broncos game, he has only rushed for a small amount of yards.

He won't need surgery for the injury in the summer.

He said that playing on it was not making it worse.

Michael Gehlken of the Dallas Morning News reported that he said his knee should be good within three to four weeks. His knee hasn't been scoped.

The Cowboys will play the Washington Football Team on Sunday and all signs point to it being a win for the team. He was listed as a full participant in the Dallas injury report.

Tony Pollard has seen a few more looks in the backfield of the Cowboys in recent weeks. In his last four games, Pollard has 49 touches for 310 yards, while Elliott has 62 touches for 220 yards.

Pollard missed practice on Wednesday with a foot injury, but according to Gehlken, there isn't any long-term concern. A source told Gehlken that Pollard is fine. Clement is still on the Cowboys' depth chart.

The Cowboys will play the Washington Football Team in a big game. A win would give the Cowboys a three-game lead over Washington and the Philadelphia Eagles for the division title. The Washington Football Team can control its own destiny with a loss.

The game is scheduled for 1 p.m. FedExField is in Landover, Maryland.
