Remaining friends and colleagues is the best course of action for our relationship.

The power couple of sports TV is broken up, with ex-NBA player Jalen Rose filing for divorce from Molly Qerim.

The process to end their 2 and a half year marriage began earlier this year with the filing of documents by Rose.

Sources tell us that both sides are still friendly.

In June 2016 Rose went public with the "First Take" host, and they tied the knot in NYC in July.

The couple starred in a commercial together. After Qerim moved to Connecticut, the marriage broke down irretrievably, according to court documents.

In the docs, it's known that Jalen doesn't want alimony and that Molly doesn't want it. Molly doesn't want any alimony and there was no prenup.

Molly has recently removed "Rose" from her accounts after she included it in her name on social media.

In the months leading up to the filing, the couple hadn't been photographed together much, and they haven't posted each other on their pages.

In June, Qerim spoke out about Rose's struggles with deaths in the family in an emotional segment on "First Take."

Rose played in the NBA before becoming a television personality. Qerim worked at the network.

Rose and Qerim are still working together.
