Your LG TV can now play Google Stadia if it’s running webOS 5.0 or later

Do you have a gamepad or a recent TV? You can download the Stadia cloud gaming platform for your television in any of the 22 countries that are covered by the company. You can find it in the app store.

The company promised that both Stadia and Now would arrive on its TVs in 2021, and the service arrived in November. Most Stadia-supported TVs ran some version of the operating system.

Stadia and GeForce Now are both free to try with a basic account. We were impressed by the new $200-a-year tier from GeForce Now. The Shield TV set-top box from Nvidia only streams in 4K resolution, while the full Stadia Pro tier with 4K streaming resolution and 5.1 surround sound will be available to all of the TVs from today. Stadia Pro costs $10 a month.

We haven't compared the two games yet, but I'm eager to do so tonight.

While Stadia requires you to bring your own games, you can play Control for free on the internet.

Even if you don't have a gamepad, you can technically play Stadia on some platforms using your phone's touchscreen.

Bridge Mode should work with your phone as a controller for Stadia.
