Some websites and services were taken down on Tuesday due to a cloud-computing unit issue.
There was a notice on the status page that said it was experiencing problems. Not all users may be experiencing issues in the main US-East-1 region hosted in Northern Virginia.
According to the notice, which was posted late morning on Tuesday, the US-EAST-1 Region is experiencing issues. We are working towards recovery after we identified the root cause.
Disney's streaming subscription service, Disney+, was one of the services that reported issues as a result of the outage.
Representatives from the company did not respond to the request for comment.
