Tottenham face disruption after coronavirus outbreak in squad

Spurs face two important games this week.

The club's preparations for their pre- Christmas fixture have been disrupted by a coronaviruses outbreak.

A number of players and club staff have returned positive tests.

Over the next 24 hours, more testing will take place.

Spurs are playing Rennes in a crucial game in the Europa Conference League on Thursday before a trip to Seagulls on Sunday.

If they have 13 available players, including a goalkeeper, from their 25-man A list, they must fulfill the Rennes fixture to have a chance of making the final 32.

If they don't have enough player numbers, the game could be postponed.

It is not yet known if the club will contact the league about the game at the Amex Stadium, but a decision to delay the league matches can only be made by the competition board.
