Several changes to leadership have been announced in an internal reorganization of its businesses. Two new CEOs will be in charge of the new SET Division, which includes mobile, TVs, and consumer electronics. It is the biggest change to the structure of the company since the appointment of three leaders for three separate divisions.

The head of the visual display business is now a co-CEO of the SET division. He has led the company to the top position in TV sales worldwide for 15 years and is expected to strengthen the synergies among the different businesses in the SET Division.

Kyehyun Kyung was previously the CEO of the company. He has worked on the flash memory product team and the DRAM design team in the past, and will now be tasked with leading the Semiconductor division.

The SET and DS divisions have new heads of North American offices, as well as a new CFO, Hark Kyu Park. The shakeup streamlines the tech giant's organizational structure into two businesses for consumer products and components.
