Chris Cuomo says he’s ending his SiriusXM radio show after CNN fired him

Chris Cuomo was in New York City.

Chris Cuomo said on his radio show that he is ending his show because he was fired by CNN for alleged sexual harassment against a woman.

Cuomo announced his departure from the satellite radio company.

Cuomo wrote that his time at CNN was hard. The past week has been extremely difficult for my family. I have to take a step back and think about what's next.

I will no longer be doing my radio show.

I am very appreciative of the support I have received from the radio station. Cuomo expressed his appreciation for his loyal listeners. I look forward to being in touch with you again in the future, but I will miss our conversations a lot.

Chris Cuomo said that he is leaving his show on the satellite radio company, so Let's Get After It will no longer air. Chris did a great job at SiriusXM.

Cuomo was suspended by CNN last Tuesday after documents released by New York Attorney General Letitia James revealed that he was more deeply involved in efforts to control damage to his brother. Andrew was accused of sexual harassment.

Andrew Cuomo resigned as New York governor in August after an investigation found he had harassed nearly a dozen women. Andrew Cuomo denied any wrongdoing.

Chris Cuomo told lawyers that he didn't try to find any information to insult the accusers of his brother nor did he know of any opposition research being done by the governor's staff.

Chris Cuomo forwarded a message to his brother's advisors that referenced a complaint from a college that involved Charlotte Bennett, an aide to Andrew Cuomo who had accused him of harassment.

Chris Cuomo, Andrew Cuomo's brother, sent a text to a top aide, saying he had a lead on the wedding girl.

Bennett called on CNN to fire Chris Cuomo because of how far he was willing to go to ruin women.

Bennett noted that the documents showed that he tried to get information about me from the internet and also tried to get information about his brother.

The documents shed new light on Chris Cuomo's involvement in his brother's defense and raised serious questions for the network, which had not known about the extent of his role.

CNN fired Chris Cuomo on Saturday after it hired a law firm to conduct a review of the situation.

On Sunday, the attorney said she had a client who had accused Chris Cuomo of sexual harassment, and that the woman had reported it to CNN.

CNN acted quickly on my client's complaint and fired him last night.

Bennett was an aide to Andrew Cuomo.

The lawyer said that her other client, who has accused Chris Cuomo of misconduct, was motivated to notify CNN after seeing him earlier this year claim on air to care "very deeply" about the issue of sexual harassment.

The client retained counsel to report Cuomo's sexual harassment against her to CNN, after hearing the hypocrisy of Cuomo's on-air words.

Steve Goldberg, a spokesman for Chris Cuomo, said Sunday that the allegations are not true.

Goldberg said that Chris Cuomo stood by his on-air statements about his connection to these issues, both professionally and in a profoundly personal way.

If the goal was to see Mr. Cuomo punished by CNN, that may explain why he was terminated.
