After the latest shakeup at the top of the AP poll, the Boilermakers are the team to beat.
The Boilermakers improved to 8-0 with a pair of convincing wins this week, while Duke and Gonzaga both suffered upset losses.
Week 5 of the college basketball season is just around the corner.

In the first month of the season, the Boilermakers have beaten North Carolina and Villanova. The team dominated Florida State 93-65 before beating Iowa 77-70.
McCaffery told reporters after the game that they deserved to be the top ranked team. They can hurt a lot. They have experience and are large. It's going to be a tough team to beat.
Jaden Ivey is one of the top players in college basketball and he is currently leading the team in scoring with 15.9 points per game.
The move up the ranking was aided by Ohio State's upset of Duke. The Big Ten/ACC Challenge was won by the Buckeyes thanks to some clutch shooting by E.J. Liddell.
After a win over Gonzaga, Duke dropped from the top spot to third.
After suffering a loss to Alabama, Gonzaga fell to No. 5. The Tide hit 13 three-pointers, led by Jaden Shackelford's 28 points.
The team moved up to ninth in the latest poll after losing to Iona earlier this year.
The squad will be tested in its next game against a ranked opponent, but it is on the rise up to No. 2.
The first losses of the season by Florida and BYU led to their dropping in the latest poll.
