Gen Z Affected More By Pandemic Than Millennials, Gen X, Poll Finds

The poll shows that more Gen Z people say their lives have been negatively affected by the coronaviruses than people of Gen X.

The poll found that the pandemic made it more difficult for people to pursue a career, compared to people of different ages.
45% of Gen Zers said the pandemic made it difficult to maintain friends, compared to 41% of Gen Xers.
The trend continued with romantic relationships, with 40% of Gen Zers saying the Pandemic made it harder.
The ability to maintain mental health across generations was almost completely decimated by the coronaviruses, according to the Gen Xers.
Difficulty having fun was a problem for all three groups, with Gen Xers being the most affected by it.
Gen Z was more likely to face online school than any other group, and most students have returned to fully in-person or hybrid learning models. People over the age of 16 were allowed to get inoculated, but teens only became eligible to get vaccine in May. According to the CDC, 70% of the US population is fully protected against diseases. The Omicron variant and rising cases around the country are threatening the return to normal. The U.S. is seeing over 100,000 new coronaviruses a day.
