The HyperDrive "DUO PRO," a 7-in-2usb-C hub designed for Apple's latest high-end MacBook Pro models, will be available on the crowdfunded website, Indiegogo, in January.
The HyperDrive DUO PRO has a 4 port Thunderbolt 4 port, a 5 port USB-A port, and a Gigabit Ethernet port. The retractable port is needed to maintain a slim design.
The hub is available in Space Gray and Silver. The new MacBook Pro models have been designed to match their side profile and avoid interfering with the MagSafe charging port, but the DUO PRO works with any MacBook from 2016 to 2020. The DUO PRO can be used with any PC, iPad, or Chromebooks that has a USB-C port.
The hub can be used with protective MacBook cases and an optional accessory allows it to sit flush against MacBooks without a case. The magnetic grip on the DUO PRO allows it to attach to the MacBook.
The HyperDrive DUO PRO 7-in-2 is available for funding. Early backers will be able to get the DUO PRO hub for half the retail price.
